The location is comfortable and unbeatable, not far from transport and village and National Park and Very close to outside activities including falls - couldn't be better. Also, if you wish to explore Erith Coal Mine, set 10 minutes walk away, stay in this hotel.

Everything was beautiful at this traditional hotel. I had cheap, budget room with ratty carpet and attached bathroom, for example. Remote location was a plus. There was a main bar.

I absolutely adored the hotel's charming decoration and ambiance. The historic sandstone fireplaces and timber features gave a cozy and nostalgic feel. The chesterfield lounges and quirky artworks were delightful to admire. Being a senior woman, I found the general areas of the hotel easily accessible and comfortable to navigate. It was such a pleasure to relax and mingle in such a beautifully decorated space.

The only thing I wished for as a senior woman on vacation was a bit more assistance and consideration from the children working there. A little help with luggage or a friendly offer of assistance would have made my stay even more enjoyable.

This hotel had a central position to main shops. And it was also not far from town centre and cafes and restaurants.

For the price we paid, we got great value for our money. The room was comfortable and the staff treated us well. The location was also fantastic, with the hotel being just across the road from the train station and close to many cafes and restaurants.

The food for breakfast could be improved, maybe by offering a wider variety of options.

The location was comfy and perfect - within short walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The queen room we stayed in was brand-new with tv.

Lovely old-school hotel. Impressive grounds, pool, tennis court. Family rooms are spacious, comfortable. Well-maintained vintage building. Good restaurant, excellent food

The bedrooms are equipped with Westin Heavenly beds, ensuring a great night's sleep. The double rooms with shared bathrooms provide everything you need for a budget-friendly holiday. The standard twin room with an ensuite is perfect for a small family on a budget.

Personally, I would have preferred a larger bed in the double single room with a shared bathroom.
